Beautiful and unique!
Comments about : Decorative Lace Spade:
I asked for this for Christmas and I got it! It's really pretty and I've never seen anything like it. It is not "rusty". I was afraid from one of the reviews that it was oxidized. It's painted a rust color. The metal is pierced and it's beautiful! I plan on hanging this by the front door and putting a sign on it that says, "a gardener lives here". The wood is solid and it's just a nice conversation piece. I love it, would have bought it for myself (if my husband had forgotten) and I'd recommend it for "the gardener who has everything". If you're passionate about plants this is a wonderful way to display that.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Fun Decor Element
from St. Louis, Missouri
I mounted my lace spade to my back porch as a décor element. Very few people have seen this and thought it was cool. I love gardening and this was a perfect addition to my porch décor.

Perfect gift for a Lacemaker and Gardner
By Zen Lacemaker
from Bellevue, WA
I will hang this on the wall inside the front door as a statement piece. I am a gardener and a lacemaker. Although I can't physically use it, hopefully, in the future, a functional shovel can be made with a lace design etched on the shovel and/or woodburned into the handle. Rust may be "in", but a painted surface shows care and reverence for the object's use.
