I was not sure when I ordered these over the phone what they really looked like. When I received them I was happy that the zen look fit right in with the decor and provided sturdy support for my plants so far. They seem very pricey, but maybe they will last longer than the last ones I ordered. Those have lasted literally 20 years-and are still usable! The old ones are not as pretty as these!

Nicely Made and Attractive
By PA Gardeners

We bought a house with two installed, raised beds - each about 30 ft long by 4 ft wide. We planted cucumbers and have them trained up the trellises using the trellises oriented along the narrow width. They are perfect and look really nice!

A total waste of time and money. Ordered three of them and two had come apart in less than a month. Definitely not worth it. If I could give less than one star I would.

this was falling apart when I received it. I had to replce the screws with longer ones. Why can't you find some in the U.S. to make this?
Perfect Problem Solver

First time planting cucumbers and was searching for a way to accommodate this goal because of lack of space and inability to plant in the ground. This item fits the bill as I've planted the cucumber seeds in a barrel and this A-frame fits perfectly.

Before the summer was half over, this trellis was falling apart. The screws began to come out,the wood split and it was constantly sagging despite being tied to rebar stakes for extra support. Finished the summer by wiring it together and then tossed into the trash. Only item ever bought from Gardener's Supply that was not top quality.

Not US made
from Bethel, CT.
When my husband opened the package some of the screws holding trellis together had come out as they were too short to do the job. He replaced screws with longer ones. It was only after unpacking that he noticed tags saying "Made in China". If we had known they were foreign made we would not have purchased. When I placed order I specifically asked if the trellis was US made.

Best way to grow butternut squash ever!
from Washington, PA
I got one as a gift last year. I ordered two more as it was such a wonderful garden support. I used mine for butternut squash last summer. I had a very good crop. I needed too more so I could grow even more variety of winter squash. Love having garden freshly stored squash in the cellar for use all winter!

Not very well made
from Santa Rosa, CA
I used the trellis to grow two lemon cucumber plants. It was working great until towards the end of the season. Then, it fell apart. The wood held together nicely but the hinges came apart. It could not tolerate the weight of the vines. As others have stated, I wish I had read the reviews before I bought this item. Will need to buy something different this year but unsure what would meet my need and be reasonable on the budget.
