This extra-sturdy grow-through support keeps plants contained and upright. Perfect for peonies, baptisia and similar vigorous plants. Or place the support around a special plant you'd like to highlight. This unusual and eye-catching support is a piece of landscape art even when plants aren't grown in. Adorn it with fairy lights and greens for a striking addition to your holiday decorations. The powder-coated steel has been painted by hand to resemble aged, rusted metal. New easy assembly.

Cute yet sophisticated
from Waukesha, WI
This product is what I expected. Fairly easy to put together. Was disappointed with the wooden top however. This will weather in no time so I put a protective finish on it to help preserve it as once the top is gone, that is what holds the entire cage together and then the product is shot unless you can find something else to hold all of the pieces together. Might want to think about a different material for the top. I purchased the cages to try and keep/discourage deer from eating my mom's prized plants. Remains to be seen if they will work as the spacing is quite large, but it might work. At least they look better than rabbit screening or something else!

These look well made. We haven't had a chance to put them in yet. Only concern is how long the paint will last. Similar items have started to rust and chip after a couple of years and needed touch-up.

So easy to put together and it looks great in my garden. I use it to keep my tall phlox from falling all over each other. Next spring I'm gonna buy the taller version as well.
Looks great, I get compliments but husband had to fix it
Love how this piece looks holding up some tall coreopsis, I've gotten several compliments on it since I received it in the mail a few weeks ago. However, my husband had to fix it. The ball on top acts as the nut you tighten to hold the legs together; the ball needed to be rethreaded so it could screw on. Without the repair, it would not have been able to be assembled at all. Would recommend for its looks, but likely not everyone would put up with repairing it.

Great for my bush clematis.

I like these. They are not bulky. The flowers are still the highlight. They work very well with wispy flowers that won't stand up well on their own. I think they're beautiful.
Form and Function
from Ann Arbor
This cage is really nice looking, and seems to be well made. Easy to put together. I'm not quite sure how functional it is, since I bought it for a peony that I haven't purchased yet. ;-) But it looks as if it will be perfect once placed out in the appropriate spot next spring,

Had to re-threat the "ball finial" (nut on top)
By The gardener's husband
from Saint paul, MN
My wife bought this, looks good. Was assembled with ease. The nut provided was poorly threaded and needed to be re-threaded to screw down and complete assembly. Re-threading was easy but would be impossible with out the tools to do it.My advice to the seller would be to check that the "ball finial" threads on propperly so everyone can order it confident they can assemble it, as the quality control in india clearly does not.
I would buy this product again
I use this ti add support around my peonies. I like the fact that it adds a bit of "architecture" rather than just a utilitarian approach to the need.
