You'll love how this insect netting comes ready to use in your garden — complete with support hoops. Just position the finely woven mesh tunnel over vulnerable plants to prevent damage from cucumber beetles, squash bugs, potato beetles — even deer and bunnies. Reflective silver threads repel aphids. Nearly instant pest control! Slide fabric up the hoop to tend and harvest. Reusable; folds flat for easy off-season storage.

wish it had a top opening
from Simsbury CT
I had trouble with "critters" helping themselves to my sprouting veggies. These work great. My whole garden is once more growing Wish there was a top oprning so when the plants get taller I could pull back the top and still keep the little "Critters" out. This is the only draw back I can see
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

bye bye squash beetles!
from underhill, vt
finally, a year where i am not battling cabbage moths, striped cucumber beetles, or flea beetles! these row covers are making this year's garden a happy event, instead of a battle. i love that i can shorten the row cover for smaller crops or stretch them out for long rows. they're simple to use and store flat after i'm done. i'm using them on eggplants and tomatoes (while they're small enough) because flea beetles have been a problem. in the past few years we've had an influx of striped cucumber beetles that have decimated all our squash plants. and finally, all our cruciferous veggies are under the row covers and i have ZERO cabbage worms! miraculous and wonderful!
I love this product
I origanally bought 3 of these for a strawberry row. It's perfect! There is plenty of light for the berries to ripen and NO birds so I get all of the berries! This year I bought more to cover the rest of the berries. This is the best cover I have found.

This is great!
from Central Pennsylvania
This product has saved my seedlings from the beaks of birds. During late Spring frosts, the plants were protected. They are thriving and soon ready for harvesting. The netting shields the plants from damaging bugs. Having the netting attached to hoops makes it easy to open and close, and strong winds do not blow the fabric off the hoops. Just wish Gardeners had the netting hoops in a taller size for brussels sprouts and broccoli.
Not what it appears to be
from Watertown, CT
I had to do a lot of extra work to make these hoops work. They work well to keep out the small animals, but the insects make their way in. I had to put extenders on them to make them stay in the ground. They would lift right out when you go to open them. Many of the threads were loose when I got it and the seams are coming off the wire hoop. The concept is good, but they need a lot of work.

i bought this product to cover my row of strawberries when they start to ripen. We had a freeze 2wks ago after a hot spell so they were in full bloom. i used this as a frost cover which saved the blossoms. Glad I had it.

Have been waiting for a product like this for ages. Easy to set up, seems like it will last. Excellent for protecting brassicas from cabbage worms, and I may get another for squash.
Insect netting with hoops

Wire hoops seem long enough to stick in the ground. Netting looks sturdy and hope it lasts a few years. Planting is a little early here yet so haven't used them.

Worm free produce!
from Boyertown, PA
I ordered this product for the second time because of the high degree of satisfaction that I had last summer. It was the first year in decades that I had no worms on broccoli and cabbage! Unfortunately, my kale suffered badly, so I'm looking to success this summer with the extra tunnels. Would love to see this product offered in taller sizes, to accommodate Brussels sprouts.
no more bugs!
from Marshall, NC
This is a great way to control pests (particularly cabbage loopers and other cabbage worms) on cabbage family crops. No more worms or worm droppings! I love being able to see right through the mesh (unlike spun row covers). The mesh is easily permeable to water and air. The wire supports slide through casings in the mesh fabric, and it's easy to slide the cover up to weed or harvest. My only problem with the product is that it doesn't come in a taller size which I'd love to use for growing broccoli.
