This sturdy, four-arm stand supports an impressive display of cascading flowers. As well-built as our original
model, but with updated, more graceful arms. Constructed of thick, powder-coated steel,
it holds up to 200 pounds and has a wide base to keep it stable on a deck or patio. Easy assembly.

It doesn't bend!!
from Charleston IL
Confirmed it holds up to heavy planters which are caused from too much rain. Returned from vacation and the previously purchased shepherd's crook is bent from the heavy planters. Had a smile on my face seeing how well the new one did.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

So nice and easy
By SLC Gardner

I was surprised at the size of the planter. I did not realize that it was over 6 feet tall when I purchased it. It is very easy to assemble. I have hard rock no dirt in the yard, this is great since I can have it stand on my concrete patio. You need to use blocks or sand bags to make sure that it does not blow over with the winds. I use 1 foot sq blocks for now but may build a wood stand to bolt it to. The wind always blows at my house and with plants on the planter it could blow over.

My mother is "someone who has it all:. She is hard to shop for. A neighbor had one and she admired it. Now it is the focal point in a flower bed.

The pots hang low enough (I am 5'4") for me to comfortably hang plants, water them, etc. I am growing cherry tomatoes in them. We get strong winds over the patio, so, at the base, to ensure the wind does not blow it down I have put clay pots sitting on two bricks over each foot. Then I decided to put pots in-between, so I have quite an herb garden at the base. It is attractive and provides more convenient gardening space on the 10' x 20' cement patio. The packing material was falling apart when the box arrived, the cardboard not being sufficient for the weight of the package. However, the stand is well made except the top center pole does not "sit" in the bottom pole but the feet provide ample support. I will be putting black electrical tape around the connection (black also) to block any rain from seeping into the bottom pole to prevent it from rusting from the inside out. Easy solution.
wonderful basket stand!
from Timpson, Texas
I love this hanging basket stand! I use it to hold four heavy hanging baskets full of flowers that are in self watering baskets. The extra weight doesn't strain the arms of the stand at all. We had the whole thing assembled within ten minutes of opening the box. I think probably less than that, but I am being generous. I am buying another one.
