For a fraction of the cost of a permanent screen door, this self-closing, Hands-Free Bug Screen will keep bugs out of the house all summer. Its quality is far superior to other models, with tough, fine-weave fiberglass mesh that keeps bugs out, while allowing kids, pets and cool breezes through.

We use this screen to keep the humming birds from flying into our sunroom. The dogs and the kids can just run right through it!

the perfect screen door
from East Montpelier, VT
This was perfect for my mudroom to porch door where a real screen door was not feasible.

Easy to go through; closes snugly. Dust and pollen etc. can be vacuumed clean.
This is so easy to install.

About Me Do-It-Yourself
This is the second and third time I have purchased these screens. They need more magnets when they close and more attachments for the outside of the doorway. I always have to turn around after I have gone through it to make sure the magnets have closed. I have given many of my friends and family your email address to purchase them also and they have been happy with them too, but agree, more magnets.
No more slamming screen door!

About Me Handyman
I've used this product for over a decade and replaced it only twice. I leave my back door open all summer long and go in and out into the garden without disturbing even a bird because it's totally silent. I use it without attaching the sides, so I just push it aside from one side or the other. That's how my cat goes through it and I followed her example. It's actually easier (for me) than using the center opening. The screen falls back into place quite easily. On warm evenings. I just push the Velcro sides against the door jam to keep any pests out that might be attracted to the indoor lighting. Oh, and you can see through it as if nothing's there!
Works fairly well

the velcro tabs didn't stick well to my doorframe in some places, and even on a side where they stick well, the gaps at the frame and the floor allow lucky pests to find their way inside.

This screen works great. I like it much better than a screen door. I'm buying another one to go into my other door. It's great cause the dogs can go in and out as well!
Nicer than I thought it might be.

About Me Novice
I ordered just 'hoping' this would work for me.I have to admit I was pretty happy that I could make it work all by myself! The screen is doingexactly what I want it to do, and the dog wasn't afraid of it for long. Keeping bugs/flies out was my biggest concern, and it definitely is working.

I like that this bug out screen is easy to install with no nails. Some of the more inexpensive brands require nailing the top. This is easy up and easy down with the expansion rod. My dog loves it and I love it also. You can easily go out and come inside hands free. This is my second screen. My first one lasted about 5 years. I just take it down and roll it up and store away for the cooler months.
Just what we needed
We needed a solution to a screen door that would have interfered with our deck. This screen was just what weneeded to screen the door but not swing into the deck. It does keep the pest out.
