Fertilize your roses with greensand to prolong their blooms next year. Roses and other flowers thrive on greensand because it supplies marine potash, silica, iron oxide, magnesia, lime, phosphoric acid and 22 trace minerals. It's also a boon for tomato lovers, because it has the vitamins and minerals that tomato plants need to produce abundant, intensely flavored fruit.

I use this to help with soul aeration and to add some minerals to my raised beds. Works great.
I used this with my tomatoes and my harvest was bountiful.
from Wilder, ID
I used this on my tomato plants and after two years of very small harvest the increase was fabulous. I was able to can spaghetti sauce, freeze tomato soup and enjoy Caprese salad all season long.

Greensand is an excellent way to replenish tired garden soil. I reapply every few years.
My strawberries loved it!

Huge improvement in the quality of my strawberries! And it happened quickly! Seriously. This must have supplied missing nutrients. Before the green sand they were soft and didn't taste good, now they are vibrant and taste great!

About Me Getting Started
Green Sand is an excellent way to give me the best chance of being successful with my garden. I love to add it to my potting soil, even when I plant things in the ground. I have plenty for now, and will have more in the future. I would surely recommend this to anyone.

Green Sand for Luck
from Mount Vernon, IN
I am such an admirer and inexperienced gardener when it is time to plant roses. My experience with quick starters, etc. made me cautious of burning my rose bushes, but this green sand seems to be working great. We also planted grass in shaded areas that is doing well.
Hard to find and effective

I grow my vegetables in large containers on my roof deck. They seriously appreciate the addition of a bit of greensand (doesn't take a lot!) every spring. Thanks for providing this resource.
