Those little black flying insects that hover over your houseplants are not just a nuisance. They're destructive fungus gnats, which live in the soil and produce hungry larvae that devour plant roots. Gnat Guard to the rescue! A single application of this biological control (naturally-occurring beneficial nematodes) gives your plants permanent protection against gnats and thrips.

About Me Master Gardener
Comments about Gnat Guard:
Mixing, delivery and short term storage of this "gnat treatment" product is very poorly designed and presented. I enjoy my houseplants, and this product EVENTUALLY does get the job done; however, as a busy research scientist, soul mate, best friend, mother, wife and mother of four(4) ages 7 - 12, I am extremely annoyed when I waste even ONE NANOSECOND of time re-doing anything that could have been done correctly the first time. I buy from Gardeners Supply because they (typically) make sure not to waste my time in the first place. Afterall, I can't garden if I'm spending my time figuring out how to make my gardening tasks earlier...can I ? Thanks for caring....God bless.

Seemed Like It Could Work
By TheGrace
from Williamsport, PA
It arrived the day after I had given my plants a good watering, so I had put it in the refrigerator for 2 days before applying it.One month later, and I still have the little gnats flying around my plants.

Received the product and store immediately per instructions; mixed and used according to instructions. Still have the pesky gnats. This was a rather pricey and troublesome attempt to eradicate the problem.

unclear

Instructions about keeping it refrigerated were not clear to me, so I did not do this initially. By the time I used it, the gnat problem appeared to be gone. Therefore, I cannot say for sure about effectiveness.
it works
By Urban gardener
It helps significantly reduce gnats in our germination/seedling facility.
This worked for me!
By MN

My new hibiscus was overrun with annoying gnats plus they were spreading to other plants. Within days of an application, the numbers were down dramatically. After two waterings, they were essentially gone. I haven't seen them in several weeks now. It really worked!

About Me Getting Started
The concentrated sponge made plenty of formula for all my plants whit more to spare. It worked within a few days and literally pulled one from the grave, as it were!I have struggled with Fungus Gnats for a long time never knowing there was an end all out there. I recommend this to anyone battling with House Gnats that are killing your plants.
Ordered Twice, did not work either time!

I have a major infestation of fungus gnats so I ordered this. I applied this to all of my houseplants. It did not work. I thought perhaps I applied it wrong so I reordered and reapplied. This did not work...twice! I really really wish I could get my money back!
