Nature centers and public gardens feed butterflies by offering them sponges soaked in a nectar solution. Our beautiful glass flower similarly serves up a sweet and nutritious meal that butterflies can't resist. The 8" aqua blue glass bowl fits securely into the spiral top of the metal stake, and the bright yellow mesh sponge gives beautiful butterflies a place to land. Just add Butterfly Nectar, sold separately.

Comments about Glass Butterfly Feeder:
I garden in posts on my deck and am excited about feeding my butterflies. My only concern is weather I can glue the aqua nectar bowl to the stake to keep the wind from blowing is off. It's attractive enough I will find a way.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The only thing attracted are ants :(
This product would be good if there was something on the stem to prevent ants from getting into the bowl. Tried using Vaseline on the stem but it did not stay on for long.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

from broken arrow, ok
This is a pretty, solid butterfly feeder. The only think I would change is that the yellow item in the center of the feeder looks like a kitchen sponge. That's a little weird.
I love it!

I love it, it is so pretty! Unfortunately at this time the butterflies prefer the flowers. I will keep trying.
