Cucumbers, peas, pole beans and other vine crops will reach for the sky and reward you with a lavish, easy-to-harvest bounty. Or plant climbing annuals like morning glories and delight in an exuberant tower of lush foliage and dramatic color.
Success starts in the roots. The perforated planter with sidewall ventilation and lightweight Grow Bag liner air-prune roots, ensuring a dense, vigorous root system that can take up more water and nutrients — the secret to super-productive plants.
Dual-Hydrate Watering System. Draws water from the reservoir into the soil two ways — an evaporative grid plus capillary strip — efficiently providing roots with water. And the large water reservoir provides consistent moisture and reduces watering chores.
Built-in support. The heavy-duty trellis is integrated into the planter, giving vines a secure place to climb.
Large capacity. The planter holds a generous 60 quarts of potting mix to accommodate multiple plants and encourage extensive root systems.

Sturdy trellis but not top rim of pot
from Auburn WA
Comments about : Gardener's Revolution® Classic Vine Planter:
The top rim of this planter comes off way to easily. Looking forward to seeing my vines fill in on the trellis
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Merchant response: Thank you for taking the time to review our Gardener's Revolution Classic Vine Planter. We're sorry to hear that the rim is loose. It really should not be loose if it is seated properly. You might want to try pushing firmly around the entire rim of the planter to see if there isn't a section that needs to be pushed in place. We offer a 100% guarantee of all of our products, so if that tip doesn't help or the rim becomes a bigger issue in the future, please call our friendly customer service staff at 1-800-876-5520 or respond to the email we sent you.

Not as I expected
from Marion, MA
I found this difficult to put together and the rim of the planter does not fit properly. It was already assembled I discovered it so I had to leave it the way it was. There isn't any way to drain an abundance of water and my cukes did not due well because we received a lot of rain this year and the plant is dying out now. Would not purchase this again, first time I have ever been disappointed with a Gardener's product. Will look for advice from others that have purchased this
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Definitely would give as a gift
from Columbia, SC
I planted my cucumbers in this planter because they needed a little shade during the heat of the day. My permanent raised beds are in total sun. They have been doing wonderful while other gardeners are struggling to get cucumbers out of their gardens. The planter holds quite a bit of potting mix (included with the kit) and has a water reservoir.

Very nice planter
from Lawrence, KS
We initially got a planter which wouldn't assemble properly due to the base being defective. The sidebars wouldn't seat properly into the base, and even though we put it together the best we could, and planted it with sweet potatoes, the rim continually kept coming off of the base, and just wouldn't stay on. Anyway.... Gardeners initially offered to replace the defective base, but since we already had the unit planted with sweet potatoes, we opted to get a 2nd planter at a discounted price instead as compensation for the value of the non-working base. The 2nd planter was not defective and was a breeze to put together compared to the first one! We are making use of both planters, but the defective one just isn't held together as well, an the alignment on the top and bottom part of trellis isn't completely symmetrical. The non-defective planter is absolutely perfect and completely lovely. I really like that these planters are self-watering, with the nice big grow bag, and the trellis built in. You really couldn't ask for a nicer planter.
I bought this Vine Planter for my son-in-law. We were both disappointed in the product. We were sent a wrong part which prevented us from being able to use it. It looked like it would be blown over in a good wind so we shipped it back.
Merchant response: We are sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with our Gardener's Revolution Classic Vine Planter and that you returned it without giving it a try. We have tested this planter extensively and we can assure you that it can support a great deal of plants and would not have blown over in a strong wind. We wish you great success with your garden this summer!

About Me Master Gardener
The instructions were extremely poor and it was difficult to put together. It is bulky on the bottom and the trellis part is flimsy. I would not order again!

Planted morning glories in a spot that I have had less than stellar results. Hoping this planter will allow for abundant vines and beautiful flowers. I'll have to report back later!
