This multitasking tool combines a spade and fork, making it your go-to tool for loosening soil, digging, cultivating, dividing, weeding and edging. The sharp, serrated edge cuts through tough soils, sod and roots. Perfect for slicing through surface weeds before digging and planting. The unique handle makes it efficient to push and pull through soil with minimal strain. To give it extra strength and durability, the wooden handle is bolted into the deep socket. Our Gardener’s Lifetime Spork is hand-forged in Holland from the finest high-carbon Swedish boron steel. Unlike flimsy tools that are stamped from thin stainless steel, this spork is ready for a lifetime of use by serious gardeners. The handle is made of sustainably grown European ash hardwood. Gardener’s Lifetime Tools are handmade for us by a fourth-generation, family-owned business that has been crafting fine gardening tools for more than a century.

Well designed for its job
from Lombard, IL
Comments about : Gardener's Lifetime Spork:
After having used a standard hoe on our front garden, I thought this looked like it might work better, so I bought it. It's a solid, sturdy tool, and it works just as advertised. In a few minutes with it, I can slice the roots of all the newly sprouted weeds. The cutting angle is more effective than that of a hoe and it has a sharp, strong blade, so it takes less work to use. It's also long enough that, at 6-1, I don't have to bend over much. It's easy to slip it under the surface of the soil, cut the weeds, and leave them.

Spork eliminates the need for extra gardening tools.
from Kinnelon, NJ
I am handicapped and this tool is a blessing. I only carry this one to clean out weeds eliminating the need for a hoe or hand trowel. Additionally I work the soil around the plants effortlessly because of the sharp prongs. It is one of the best tools that I have used.

Perfect job of edging
By El Jeffe
from Denver, CO
I have always disliked string line trimmers, so I was looking for a tool that would do the same thing, aND do other things as well. This tool cuts a straight line, curved line, and is great for cutting in patches of sod into the bare spots in your lawn.

Clay soil? You need a "Spork"
By Linda Lou
from Colorado Springs, CO
My husband got this for me for my birthday this year & I love it. I have used it in dry hard packed clay soil and it cut through it like butter. It is really sharp, a great solution for digging in hard compacted soils.

much too small
from Bloomington, Indiana
I wanted to replace my low-quality garden fork that has easily bending tines. Unortunately this is not it. This petit tool is not for digging! One cannot comfortly push the tool in the ground with ones foot. It's more like a hand tool and thus would not need/should not have the tall handle, then it might be useful. I love the spork that slices with ease into the soil (I have heavy clay soil) and through vines but it should be twice as wide and twice as long. I would buy a such redesigned tool immediately. The petit version of it I will return.

Charming tool; easy on the back
By nature lover
I have used it after the April rain in Virginia. Obviously that is an easier time to dig in the soil but the ease and speed was amazing. My back is healing from a recent set back. I was so anxious to have fun in the garden and wondering if I could get back to the gym. This was a test. Weeding was fun, fast and safe at least for me. This tool is possibly, Scandinavian?! If it is being sold in this country, it must be quality. To me it is a worthy investment. It has an unusual design and a charming look.
