Our Gardener’s Lifetime Cultivator is hand-forged in Holland from the finest high-carbon Swedish boron steel. Unlike flimsy tools that are stamped from thin stainless steel, this cultivator is ready for a lifetime of use by serious gardeners. To give it extra strength and durability, a 4" metal tang extends into the handle, which is securely fastened with a welded socket. The handle is made of sustainably grown European ash hardwood. Gardener’s Lifetime Tools are handmade for us by a fourth-generation, family-owned business that has been crafting fine gardening tools for more than a century.

I love the feel of this tool and it seems very well made. I just got it and so time will tell. In the past, these cultivators I have bought from other companies tended to have the handle separate and slip off. If this stays put, I will be sold on this company for life.
Had to pull out grass and weeds from a neglected planter. This thing did the trick and doesn't take up much space for urban gardeners who can only devote so much storage space to their gardens.
Fits every hand, works well in all soils
I live in a temperate rain forest so my garden is near evergreens and the cultivator is great for getting out the surface tree roots. Lots of precipitation also causes soil fungus which this tool greatly helps control.
I bought this for my son and daughter in law for their new home which has several small garden areas. A great gift with great, practical use. And sturdy.

A very good tool for hand work around my garden

I have been looking for a tool like this for a long time. It works so well because the tines are curved and you can cultivate soil or pull weeds from under low to the ground bushes and perennials. My parents had a tool that was similar back in the '50's but yours is designed better and has thicker metal.
This is a high quality tool, it feels very solid and is comfortable to hold.
