Keeping tomato plants upright ensures a bigger harvest of clean fruit and minimizes pest and disease problems. Many commercial growers use the "Florida weave" to train tomatoes because it’s quick to install and easy to maintain. Our version creates two support systems that each hold two tomato plants, or one longer support system for a row of tomatoes. The kit includes four 54" plastic-coated steel posts, four ground stakes and 325' of natural jute twine. Install the posts, and then weave the twine around and between plants, starting at the bottom and adding more twine as plants grow. You’ll love the end-of-season cleanup, too: just remove the stakes, pull up the plants and toss them, twine and all, into the compost pile. Best for shorter determinate varieties.

Sturdy, does the job
By Poligirl Gardens
I actually bought this not for tomatoes, but to keep my blackberries in line. It was easy to set up, and I found that I didn't need the plastic supporting stakes. The metal poles are sturdy. I was so pleased with it, I went back and purchased a second set for my tomatoes.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Product has many uses
By Cat Lover
from South Florida
I'm using the big poles for tomato supports in my containers and they work great! I was impressed with their strength and quality. I haven't tried to use the whole kit as a tomato trellis as that's not why I bought it. The twine is a little wimpy, but it could work for supporting tomatoes. I haven't used the pole supports, but they look pretty sturdy, too.

REALLY LIKE THIS DESPITE REVIEWS
from ODESSA, FL
I really like this despite the negative reviews it got. I am using them to train the blackberry bushes I just purchased. These are working perfectly. It's easy to install and I like that they are reusable. I also like that you keep putting more twine on as the bushes grow.
