This handsome rain barrel is made of rugged polyethylene, colored and
textured for a natural-wood look. It holds 50 gallons, yet snugs right up to a
house or garage, thanks to its clever, flat-back design. Improved solid
brass spigot is now offset from hose attachment, allowing you to fill any size watering can without awkward maneuvering.

Comments about : Flat-Back Rain Barrel, Woodgrain:
Holds a lot of water. Did leak from one of the top seals when full. Will attempt to fix with some caulk.

I love this rainbarrel! The design is very attractive and it fits snugly against the side of my house. One hose connector is high enough up to place a watering can under the handle. It's very practical.

I have been using it for about 3 weeks. I have a small roof and it filled with the first rain fall. I didn't expect it to fill that quickly. Also, I paid a lot of money and the overall product is solid, but the finishing touches looks cheap.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I bought three of these barrels to not only conserve water for my potted plants, but to also stop water from seeping into my basement and they have worked wonderfully.

This is our second rain barrel. Our town has had watering restrictions for the past few years due to drought and well water issues. This allowed us to store the water for those days it wasn't our turn to draw water from the tap for our hangers and containers. It is much nicer than the ones offered by the town although it is smaller.

About Me Getting Started
my son wanted to build an outdoor handwashing station. I bought this container and he added a small bilge pump to the hose attachment and connected it to an old sink we had saved. Now we have our handwashing station outside where we originally had no water hook up/connection any where. love it.

needed to replace my wooden rain barrel that was rotting. I also was moving it and need a more compacted rain barrel and this one looks good and holds water.

Looks nice but has problems

Do not buy this unless you have plumbing and mechanical skills. Needs a bit of modification and tweaking. Lower valve was poorly made, leaked and had to be replaced. Lower plastic threads leak under pressure. So far upper valve functions without leaks. Overflow onto front face of barrel is a poor design...who wants water running down the front onto the ground? No way to attach a hose and would be unattractive with a hose coming out of middle of front. I will need to plug it and use side tubes for overflow. Side tubes must be cut open and hose attached with pipe clamps.
