Tired of standing with a hose to water your plants? This sprinkler does the work for you. Just attach your hose, set the spike in the ground, and the
sprinkler applies water in a fan-shaped spray. When it’s time to move it, just pull up the stake and plant it to water the next spot. Sprays at a high angle to reach over tall plants; covers a half-circle up to 20' across. All-metal construction; 12" high overall. Lifetime warranty.

Fan Spot Sprinkler
from Eatonton GA
THese light weight sprinklers allow us to get to plants at edge of the yard that are hard to reach. They are also great for young plants or recently transplanted plants that you want to treat gently.

Small review correction
from San Jose, CA.
My earlier review stated that my favorite old fan sprinkler had a 3/8 spray. It was actually about 3/4 of the half circle, and at a slightly differet angle, like a mostly open fan which you'd use to cool yourself with. The old shape avoided spraying straight to the sides thus, more useful for uneven areas. With a longer stake this fan sprinkler might work better for our needs. So much for e-mailing reviews late at night when one is very tired!

I have what must be the world's thirstiest River Birch. Previous watering methods required several moves of hose and sprinkler. With the Fan Spot Sprinkler I can adjust the pattern by tilting and/or rotating the attached spike so that I can put water everywhere the tree wants it without having to move it several times.
love this sprinkler

I was able to go around the lawn and just hit small areas that were in need of water...and also to do beds without spraying large areas. The area on the sides gets more water than needed, but this is great for pinpointed areas and the water stays low, so not too much evaporation. Going to get another so I can do two areas at once.

I have been thru a lot of purchases on sprinklers, this one covers the garden perfect. Not for big lawns.
Very exciting find, but.....!

Having depended on simple, but well made, fan sprinklers for many years in the past(that did a wonderful job)and finding only exceptionally cheaply made ones for the past number of years, after the old ones disappeared or were finally broken, I was very excited to see the one pictured in your catalogue!I was so disappointd after setting this one in an area of somewhat uneven soil with plants of varying sizes, shapes, and heights. I turned it on, and it immediately began to spray into the soil about 3' out on one side where there is an uneven slant. Many branchlets were intercepting the spray, in other spots, diverting the water directly downward. It truly is a full half circle, which requires an absolutely flat surface to it's sides. It was impossible to angle properly for that, and many other, spots. I had partial success moving the sprinkler to water a larger area, but it was still hitting obstructions to the sides while making a high arc in the center. With the water pressure turned higher to cover the maximum range, it was misting rather than actually sprinkling, which results in too much evaporative water loss. I did love seeing the little Anna's hummingbids in the background enjoying the mist, though! My old "favorite" fan sprinklers (30-40 yr.'s ago)had about a 3/8ths circle coverage, and could be far more conveniently aimed, resulting in more even coverage in our yard.

Love this product! It is simple and effective. I stick it in the ground and walk away. I don't get wet when I move it. It doesn't have any moving parts, so I expect to get many years of use from this simple, inexpensive product.

Handy Sprinkler, almost as good as the o
from Arlington, VT
We has a 30 year old model of this type of fan sprinkler that we held together with electricians tape until we finally lost it. This sprinkler will not last 30 years as it is made very cheaply comparitively speaking. It will still do a decent job.
