Comments about Extra Large Feather Spinner:
I love how the spinner looks in my yard. It adds a bit of whimsy and movement. Even on days without wind the spinner is very attractive in my yard.

Don't waste your monay
look close at the design...the securing bolts that are welded on at the center of the blades throw this out of balance so that they always end up in the 12-6 position. It takes a huge wind to get this moving and then extra weight from the bolts screw up the balance. It worked when i used my leaf blower but have not had any natural wind move it.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Absolute Junk II
By Peg the gardener

I agree with Bruce. The two spinners I ordered were made in China and very poor quality. I was amazed these were carried by Gardeners. I returned them.
mesmerizing, we love it.

Takes a good breeze to get it moving, but it's pretty when it just sits there too. When it arrived the bolt to connect the two pieces was bent due to very funky boxing methods, but I bent it back into shape and it is working fine. I told Gardener's Supply Company about it and they refunded my shipping and, hopefully, they fixed the shipping problem.
Better be windy to work than looks great
Works and looks great when it is very windy.Needs a stronger stand, it ways back and forthin the wind.
Looks Great in the Yard
By Backyard Gardner

I bought this as a gift for my husband. He really likes it, and it looks great in our back yard among the plants and flowers. We are still trying to get it adjusted correctly to catch the wind. It is difficult to get balanced. We finally got one side so it turns easily and is not top-heavy, but having trouble with the other side. It's been about three weeks. Very pretty, though!
I'm very suspecious of the positive reviews. Can't think of anything positive to say about this product. It is absolute junk. Very poorly made. So far out of balance that it will not spin. This was a gift from my elderly mother living on a pension. Gardeners Supply should refund her money and refuse to sell this kind of junk.

It is grand. Everyone loves to watch it. With just a slight wind the graceful turning is mind catching. The birds love to play on it. So funny to watch them ride the petals around. And snow lands gracefully and then falls as the wind move the petals. Mesmerizing!

Works great in a breezy area. Gives a interesting array of shapes, and movements. And this is winter not a spring or summer day to sit outside and watch it spin. Can be seen from inside the house.
exactly as described
