Older version sturdier

Comments about : Everlasting Alliums, Set of 2:
I had an older pair that held up well. Reordered several years later. The stake on the newer version is less sturdy. It broke the first time I stuck it in the ground.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

About Me Avid Gardener
I call these my "Deer-Eye Pokers!"To protect my red cabbages, broccoli, kohlrabi and Brussel Sprouts, I position them to obstruct feeding deer. The deer stay away from my crop and the deer are unharmed. Much easier than a deer fence! You need to get these back in stock!

I saw these years ago at a home on a garden tour and was thrilled to receive one from a friend for my birthday. I immediately ordered to more and have already received many admiring comments one them.

I will spray them with clear coat to keep them from rusting. I also use them to keep deer away from certain trees/plants. I have 3 sets and really love them on my hillside.
Fun and stunning
I put my alliums in two containers.I wish I could purchase 3 as all gardeners know we generally plant a minimum of 3 varieties.
