Comments about : Essex Flared Round Trellis:
It's a very nice trellis but extremely difficult to put into ground. Have actually received comments on how nice it is but one person cannot get it in the ground. You will need help

Purchased a short (5 -7') clematis and this trellis is perfect. Needed to be put together but that was very easy. Looks really nice even though the plant is only two feet tall at this point.
Easy to install, seems perfect for tall perennials
from Falls Church, VA
This was much easier to install than other supports I have used

Not sure they will last a long time
Have not used it yet but my experience with items like trellises and pot stands that are made of steel especially if they are hollow is that they will rust faster than a solid steel pieces
from Frederick MD
By design, you would think it was easy to set up. Even with two people attempting to hold it steady, keep it straight, line up everything it is very challenging to get it just right. Really poor design. Now I'm stuck having to ship it back at MY cost.

Decent quality; looks good; a few design issues
from Aptos, CA
I was able to make the 3 of these that I bought work. But they were difficult to install because it's hard to keep the legs equidistant while trying to get them pushed into the ground. They also have a tendency to twist. I had to finally say to myself: well, the plant will cover them. They looked good but the legs were twisted and not equidistant. Fortunately they are in a spot where they won't be looked at close up.
Excellent product for my Passion Flower Vine.

Nice look but not a strong design
By My garden is my art palette
The look of this "trellis" (plant support) co-ordinates well with the various sizes of Essex Plant Supports but this one is a FAR weaker/thinner construction. I find it very difficult to install without making it look twisted but it is a very useful size for really tall but not wide plants.
good height and nice to look at
from New Gloucester, ME
I like that it's high enough for the plants that are taller than me.I like that it folds for winter storage
