This mobile elevated garden bed makes a productive garden possible in a small space and provides easy, no-bend gardening. Twelve square feet of waist-high gardening space eliminates the back and knee strains of traditional gardening. Sturdy wheels allow the LGarden to be moved easily to follow the sun, making it perfect for gardening on decks, patios or balconies. High quality construction includes a powder-coated UV-resistant steel frame and a sturdy wooden garden bed protected by a vinyl liner. The V-shape makes efficient use of space and planting mix — grow deep-rooted plants like tomatoes and peppers in the center, shallow-rooted crops like salad greens and herbs along the edges.

About Me Avid Gardener
Comments about : LGarden Elevated Rolling Planter:
great product, casters heavy duty and wheels easily with 100# of soil in it; was concerned over location of drainage holes slightly above bottom of trug, and nickel size diameter of the opening; I lined the entire trug vinyl liner with landscape fabric to prevent my soil from leeching out through the drain holes as a precaution
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

L Garden Elevated Rolling Planter
By Sue the gardener
from Visalia, CA
Everything is great about this rolling planter. It is in a school garden. We just roll it out to the cement so handicapped children and adults can easily access it. I read reviews that said we needed metric tools to assemble and that the wood slats need to be sealed. This should have been included in the instruction book. It was easy to assemble (with 2 people) and the assembly pieces were packaged separately and clearly marked.

Well made planter. Weighs 120 lbs+ without the soil. Fairly straight forward to assemble. I substituted 1/2" marine plywood for the pine boards to hopefully prolong the planter's life without havng to empty it. They don't have the greenhouse accessory that is mentioned in the assembly instructions and did not seem to know if or when it would be avaiulable.

Not worth the price
from Elmhurst Illinois
The parts were not matched up correctly and the liner was too short on one side.

truly raised beds
This is a great idea! The beds are high enough that there is no more bending or kneeling required to garden! In these, gardening is a pleasure again! Mine were a bit scratched up when they arrived and the plastic caps to the piping were broken, not things that affect use but, for the price, I would have liked them to be perfect. Also, it would be nice if you could buy a netting or cover to keep out the deer, etc. They are on rollers & can be moved, but once full are too heavy to move easily. Overall, they are well made. I really like them & would buy them again.
I LOVE this rolling elevated garden planter!
from Princeton, NJ
I highly recommend the LG Elevated Rolling Planter. It is the very best quality & should last for many years. I have a bad back & have not been able to garden without pain for decades. I am so delighted to be able to garden again!I chose this planter over others because of its size (width & length) and because it is extra deep in the middle and will accommodate plants that have deeper roots. My plants are absolutely thriving in this garden planter! We also chose this because it comes with very durable wheels & we can move it on our patio to get the best light and also we can move it away when we entertain.I know that this is more expensive than other planters, but I think that it is totally worth the extra cost as in the long run it will last longer and the cost will easily average out over the life of the planter. And with the heavy weight of the dirt inside the planter I believe this is a safer planter to have as I can't imagine it tipping over or the legs becoming weak over time (as may happen with the wooden planters).

Outstanding Raised Bed Garden
By Lavender Lady
from Hillsboro, OR
The product arrived with all parts and pieces in perfect condition. I treated the natural yellow pine boards with a wood preservative purchased for a few dollars from a local home improvement store to extend the life. A few days later, I assembled the garden by myself in about an hour using a ratchet set with metric sockets. Best ever - even as a "light-weight" petite woman, I am able to move the garden full of soil and plants very easily!

"Great Garden Container"
By hot chili pepper
from scottsdale, az
The L-Garden is a great size. The Rep at the Gardeners Supply was very helpful in preparing soil and fertilizer and everything I would need in getting started. The manufacturers directions as far as sizing of screws and pics of screws were a little confusing because it was done by milimeters. Once we figured that out it was fairly easy to put together in about 2 hours. My garden is doing great!
