Composting is the eco-friendly way to deal with your kitchen scraps and yard waste. The trick is to keep the process as simple as possible. Our Eco Stack Composter works like a traditional open compost pile, but in a small, self-contained stack that requires practically no effort. It costs less than many bargain compost bins, is simpler to use and much more durable. Unlike lightweight plastic compost bins, ours is made of thick, UV-stabilized polyethylene. It withstands the elements without bleaching, warping or cracking. There are no springs or clips to pop off, no hardware to rust. Easy to set up and use — just stack the sections. You don’t need to worry about keeping the compost moist or aerated, thanks to the rain-catching lid and bottom aeration vents. Best of all, there’s no turning. Once a year or whenever the composter is filled, just lift the sections off, move over, and fork uncomposted material back in. Despite its trim footprint, the Eco Stack Composter holds 7-1/2 bushels, and its tapered design and neutral brown color make it inconspicuous in your landscape. If you want a toss-it-in-and-forget-it compost bin that will give you years of service, the Eco Stack is it.

Easy Assembly & Use
from Ames, Iowa
Comments about : Eco Stack™ Composter:
This composter took less time to assamble than to remove from the box--and it looks real nice there in the corner of my back yard, as I steadily begin to load it up, while looking forward to some compost for my garden next spring.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Buying another next year
Super easy to assemble, and more importantly work very well! I've only gone out to stir it twice in a month, just for my own satisfaction. But! You really don't need to, it works just as described.

simple and great composter
from Cape Cod, MA
I have had this composter for two years now. I chose it because it did not require tools for assembly. The parts stack easily. I have no difficulty lifting the top off with one hand. It is cold composting so it is slow but if you add greens and browns, it works very well.

I wish I had returned it

About Me Avid Gardener
I was disappointment in the quality of the composter. The lid is a pain to maneuver and then kept blowing off in the least bit of wind. It's a struggle to aerate the contents. When I did my spring garden clean up a couple of weeks ago I decided it had to go which is a shame because it was not inexpensive. I'll probably purchase a tumbler.

Excellent, Easy to use Compost Solution
By Coastal Flower Gardener
from Bath, ME
I live in a small city and keeping critters out of the yard and not attracted by compost is a must. This is an easy, workable solution to the more open home-built varieties I used at our house in the country.
Nice and compact
About Me Master Gardener
This is not a large compost bin but fits my space perfectly. I was worried about it tipping over in my windy location so I did put screws into the sides to hold the pieces together (easy to take out when the compost is done). It is winter so it hasn't had time to heat up and make compost yet.
We just installed the Ecostack and I really like it so far.

Easy to assemble. Blends in with the landscape.
This was a repurchase of a great composter.

I like containers for kitchen scraps,to avoid attracting animals. This design is simple and stable, made of sturdy material, and is super to take apart and unload, then put together again.
Sturdy and easy to put together
We've only used this composter for about a month, but it was very easy to put together and seems very sturdy. My one con would be that the lid can be hard to remove one handed.
