Our exclusive Eco-co® is an earth-friendly planting mix derived from coconut husks. It’s perfect to use on its own as a planting mix in pots, planters and window boxes, or as a peat-free alternative when you make your own planting mixes. Unlike other coirs, our Eco-co Coir undergoes a special process to remove salts and to balance the pH for optimal plant growth. Eco-co Coir has excellent water-holding capacity yet drains well — so important for healthy root growth. Our blend is a mix of fine and coarse grinds to provide the perfect environment for plant roots. Carbon-rich coir is also handy for layering with nitrogen-rich kitchen scraps and lawn clippings in the compost pile. It also makes a good bedding material for worm composters. Simply add water and each convenient compressed brick expands to 10 quarts of fluffy mix.

Really like this medium and will continue using it in our garden and for potting plants.
This is just as advertised, and at a good price.

This is good to add to heavy soil, and to use as a soil-less m drum for sprouting seeds. I use it as worm bedding for my worm farm.
A great space saver!!

I am 70 and have a shoulder replacement. Lifting bags of soil is impossible, but these bricks are terrific. I build a small brick wall of these bricks and help myself in my greenhouse. Cannot garden without them.
I would buy this product again
Since my back problem this product is so light weight for me to carry and very easy to mix into my garden to get it prepared and prepped for planting
Such an easy, lightweight product
I used this to make my own potting mix. It was so easy to use that I ordered more to use for next year.
My worms love these coir bricks!
By The Worm Farmer

I mix a brick with water, paper shreds, peat moss, dirt, sand and compost to make a perfect bedding for my red wigglers. In two months I have a large amount of beautiful worm compost. There are a few long "strings" in this product that just add drainage for plant roots in the vermicompost. I keep telling myself to save money and use paper shreds only, but I like using your coir bricks too much! I can't find a better price on the internet. Quick shipping and pleasant, knowledgeable reps simply add to my desire to use your coir bricks. Thanks for a good product.

Not only does this help keep water down in the soil but it also looks beautiful on the surface. It has helped keep down weeds (not eliminated). Great product!

I use this potting soil for both indoor and outdoor containers. It's a light mix that doesn't compact.
Coir Potting Mix

I've used these for several years. I add them to my compost. I would have given more stars, but the blocks aren't as big as they once were. It takes at least two, maybe three to get the same amount when hydrated. I may need to find another option for my compost...
