Suet is a concentrated energy source that benefits birds all year-round, but especially during winter when suet replenishes depleted stores of energy and nutrients. This feeder is a simple and effective way to offer suet to clinging birds like woodpeckers and nuthatches. The mesh cage design secures two standard-sized suet cakes (sold separately), so birds can feed at both sides of the feeder at once — and you have to refill half as often.

Comments about : Double Suet Feeder:
The goal is to attract small birds to the feeder, which this double suet feeder does well. It's great to be able to offer two different flavors at once.

Easy to clean-holds 2 cakes-birds like it!
Best way to deploy suet when birds are hungery.
Spring time migration increases bird activity, and single feeders need to be filled more often. different suet cakes will attract a wider number of bird species.

the closure is not tight enough to keep the latch from closing and remain closed. The suet falls out and on occasion the squirrels try and run away with it. To bad.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Almost perfect suet feeder

Square shape is not as good as rectangular ones. Have to jam the suet in. I have had downy, flickers, and a great pileated woodpecker! They love it!
