Growing cucumbers on a trellis minimizes disease problems and keeps the fruit straight and blemish-free. This A-frame trellis lets you plant a row on both sides; or, let long vines grow up, over the top and down the other side. The sturdy, powder-coated steel frame supports heavy loads and has big 4" grid openings for easy harvesting. There's even room to grow salad greens in the shade under the trellis. Use in raised beds or in-ground gardens.

Well-Made, Sturdy Trellis
from Western Springs, IL
This trellis is easy to put together and looks great. I added a couple zip ties just in case because it is being used in a school garden and you will need some garden staples to secure it at the bottom because there aren't stakes to drive it into the ground. It's exactly as pictured and well made.

The trellis will go in my raised bed for my cucumbers. Easy to put together. Sturdy. Does take up a large area in the raised bed. Could put plants that need more shade under the A-frame.

Nice Addition to the Garden
from Orlando, FL
This trellis is a nice addition to our garden. It's coated for weather protection and has a good weight that will keep it in place. Assembly directions were a little unclear, and we could not get the spring hinges installed on the interior sections of the trellis. So instead of 4, we are using 2, which is fine. Not sure why this can be shipped assembled as it folds flat. Otherwise, it's a great product and the few cucumber plants that survived the cold spring weather, are taking to it nicely.
Good for square foot gardening
from Baltimore, MD
My cucumbers aren't growing yet, but I have this trellis set up. It looks perfect for my needs. I'm going to grow one variety up the one side and a second variety up the other side. I have a 4x8 bed, and there's plenty of space to grow spring greens below it, i.e. it is space efficient. One thing: You get 4 springs to connect the two sides. I could only get 2 on. I tried for about 15 minutes to get the other 2 on, but couldn't figure it out.
I'm ready to buy another one

The trellis is well made and looks nice. I'm using it for peas and beans but will get another for my cucumbers. The directions weren't clear and made it confusing to put together. Luckily it wasn't too difficult. I had to use a brace to keep it in place in the first location. Garden staples will probably work.
I would buy again and have.

I use both for cucumbers.
I have 4!
from Lunenburg, MA
I live how easily these get put together and the support the provide in garden boxes. I make my own pickles every year (about 36 quarts worth) and love that that can get that out of 1 10x10 box using these supports. The fruit stays off the ground and I can plant radishes underneath. This was a great purchase...I might even buy 2 more!
