Ideal for deep-rooted plants, such as tomatoes and blueberry bushes, these 15" deep beds also create attractive focal points in the garden. Each bed includes four industrial-strength aluminum corners, 1" rot-resistant cedar lumber that's been precut to the proper lengths, hardware and instructions. Easy assembly — just slip the boards into the corners and screw them in place. (12' long beds use two 6' boards with in-line connectors.) Raised beds are easy to set up, plant and maintain, producing high yields in a compact space with less digging and weeding. Use Deep Root Cedar Raised Beds to grow vegetables, or install the beds along a perimeter to create stunning border gardens. Made by us in Vermont.

Was very happy with the quality and ease of assembly.
Great raised bed, but missing pieces.

We ordered two beds. One kit was missing a corner support. Gardener's Supply was great in responding to our request to send us the missing part. Luckily they sent us two of the corner pieces because, when we ordered a third kit, the third kit arrived also missing a corner piece!!! Be sure to check your kit for any missing parts if you order one. The product is very good....if you receive all the pieces.
I have bought the 15" raised bed again and again!!

I now have 9 15" raised beds of different sizes. I don't have to kneel down to plant, weed, feed and harvest!! It makes it so much easier to garden
Best Raised Bed
This is a great product. Easy to assemble. Attractive look to yard. Made of long lasting cedar.
Easy to assemble. Very attractive. Highly recommend. I tried a couple of other products and this is far superior.
Gorgeous and Productive

We purchased the two raised beds 4' X 12' X 15" and then added to it with the smaller 4' X 6' X 15" bed. Not only are they a beautiful addition to our yard that has had many complements but they are also producing like crazy. Planting was easier, weeding is vastly diminished, the bunnies haven't figured out to get up there and the puppy stays out too. I love these beds!

I bought this because I have been interested in using raised beds for some time. Gardeners Supply has the best selection of beds so I chose them. I looked at local hardware stores and what they had did not compare to what GS offers. The bed was delivered and it came in perfect condition. Easy to put together. I put it in an existing garden bed and tilled the ground to level. Put weed block down and then assembled. The only problem when putting together was that there were not enough screws. I called and the customer support was great. I opted not to have more screws delivered so used my own. About 6 short. To fill I used peat moss, top soil and raised garden bed soil. Other than that, I am thoroughly enjoying the new bed. Made of cedar it should last a long time. I I wholeheartedly endorse and suggest that others buy this. It is a stunner!!!

Buy this bed

I bought a regular depth (7.5") bed for lettuces and other shallow root vegetables; and this 15" deep bed for tomatoes and other deeper-root plants that need supports. They're pretty expensive but when I priced high quality cedar boards of these dimensions, and realized they were a "boutique" item and not cheap, I decided to make my life easier and just buy these kits. It was a good decision. They're beautiful and were easy to assemble, in large part because the cedar is so precisely milled and the simple, finely-crafted aluminum corners create a perfect fit. These beds are part of my small back yard, in full view of my patio, so I wanted them be both beautiful and functional and they are. One caveat about the deep bed: it requires a lot of material to fill it. I adopted the "lasagna method" because I had a lot of compost available. Just something to consider in the cost of setting up raised beds.
