Attractive and useful.
There's nothing prettier than beans growing up this trellis!

I bought this to support a climbing flower I had in a planter. I really like the fact it was not heavy but is very capable of supporting my plant. It has made the whole planter very nice now.
Great for vines
Have planted clematis and moonflower vines on two trellises. Just perfect size and height. Very good price point and quality for this purpose.

Easy to assemble. Seems sufficiently sturdy. Makes a nice vertical accent.

Not worth the trouble
from Denver, CO
I've ordered a trellis before from Gardener's Supply, so I was expecting something made of heavier metal. While I got this on sale, I had to pay my welder $75 to weld the various fittings. Otherwise, they pull apart easily.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Not as pretty as the picture
Cheaply made and not as pretty as pictured.
Looks sturdier than it is
By Mary TJ

I love the look of this trellis, and the price was certainly right. As other reviews have suggested, though, it is not as sturdy a structure as it appears. Will be fine, I think, for my clematis, but think twice before getting it for large/heavy climbers.
Finally, Nice Looking Obelisk that Doesn't Cost an Arm & Leg
By Orcas Gardener

This Obelisk Suited our needs to a tee! Once pushed into the ground it was about 6 feet tall--a nice mid range size. It was affordable and looked nice on our steep downslope! Would've given it 5 stars, but the only drawback is that it is a little unstable and we had to secure it with a couple of pieces of re-bar at the base. For us, it was very useful for reining in a sprawling rugosa!

Obelisk mounted on steep hillside
It will provide the perfect support for my new clematis.
from Westminster, MD
We bought a fixer-upper that had a well pipe sticking just high enough to trip someone. My husband put in a concrete block/paver structure around it (which I had him paint black). I found a lovely pot to put on top...After finding the perfect color clematis, I saw your trellis. I knew instantly it would give a lovely place for my new clematis to climb. My next door neighbor loves the look. The trellis elevates the look of my home's woodland setting.
