Elevate your plants with this tall Lechuza® Cubico Cottage Wicker Self-Watering Planter. The pleasing basketweave texture coordinates with other Lechuza Cottage Wicker planters and accents any landscape or home decor. A removable liner slips into the outer pot for tidy planting and care.
The all-in-one set includes a layer of specially formulated granular material, called Lechuza PON, that's made from nutrient-enriched pumice, zeolites and lava. The clean, attractive material wicks water up from the built-in reservoir, aerates the roots and provides your plant with nutrition. The layer of Lechuza PON wicks water from the reservoir to the potting mix around your plant’s roots.
Plants thrive in award-winning Lechuza planters. Each one has a water reservoir that releases moisture as your plants need it and lets you water less often. The built-in water-level indicator tells you when it’s time to add more water. Each stylish container has a matching liner that lifts out conveniently, making it easy to change plants, repot, trim roots and rinse leaves. You can place the watertight pot directly on furniture or floors without worrying about leaks. For outdoor use, the pot has two removable drainage plugs. From the makers of classic Playmobile® toys in Germany, Lechuza planters are crafted from durable, shatterproof, UV-safe, frost-proof plastic.
This all-in-one planter includes the planter, liner, reservoir platform, water-level indicator and Lechuza PON.

Love the way our 4 ft. Tall red bird plant looks in this container. It was the perfect solution for the height of this plant. The old container kept falling over.

Bought a pair to go on either side of our front door. Wanted to do this for years but did not want to be a slave to watering. Lechuza was the solution.

Excellent self watering planter!

I bought two Cubico planters for our upstairs deck where watering is a hassle. They are very attractive. This was my first experience with a self-watering system. Before you buy, do your research and find a cross-section of the planter so you have a clear picture of the ratio of planting area vs the water reservoir. In this case, the planting area occupies the top one third/one quarter of the planter, which was too small for the primary plants I selected. I made some adjustments, and the planters are working out great.
Very pretty, and well made

I used these for decoration on either side of a garage, I liked the self-watering option as my mother is 95 and it is difficult for her to get out and water plants everyday. They are very nice looking and seem to be holding up well, but this is their first year I have them, time will tell.
just got planted

Yes, would purchase again
I purchased this item for outdoor use. The watering system seems to be a bit flimsy.

This size and style of this planter was just what I was looking for but you are never sure until you see it in person - it is very well made, seems like it will be very durable and its very attractive. But what I didn't realize was how innovative and yet simple the design is. Think plants will love it. It adapts for indoor or outdoor use. Its sturdy but still lightweight.

I purchased two planters for the deck. They look great. The best of all, I only need to refill water once every few weeks to keep my plants happy.
