Comments about : Copper Wire Hanging Basket, Teardrop:
I bought this for a grouping of orchids and a fern. It is a stunning basket, though getting everything in was a bit tricky. The only other thing I hadn't thought about before purchasing was how best to water it, given the shape. My original plan had been to set it in the utility sink to soak, then let it dry before hanging, but, obviously, it doesn't really stand up. What has worked is hanging it over the utility sink and pouring water on it, then letting it drip dry.

Looks attractive hung indoors

Living by the ocean copper will get a beautiful blue green patina, not rust like most wire baskets.

This was a Christmas gift and since I didn't have time to plant it immediately, I hung it outdoors. After less than a month in the weather, the copper coating flaked off, lost its shine and just got ugly. I would recommend using this indoors only and with artificial plants, not plants that need to be watered.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
A lovely choice

I chose these planters to hang in my treatment room at my clinic. They add a nice touch and I get lots of positive comments.
