Too small for our container
from Newmarket, NH
Comments about : 5-1/2" Kitchen Crock Filters, Set of 2:
I had to return these since the crock we have has a larger top than these. They do work great, just not for our container. Be sure to measure your top before you buy.

Gift for a friend
from Cincinnati OH
Gave both the 5 1/2" Kitchen Crock Filters as well as the Kitchen Compost Bags to a friend for XMAS 2017 who already had a Compost Crock and had been looking for these other items. She was delighted.
Filter eliminates all odor from my kitchen composter.

I ordered a compost keeper from Gardeners Supply years ago and use both the filters and bags. The composter sits on my kitchen counter and eliminates all odor.

I use 2 in my large stainless crock (also from Gardener's) and they control even onion odors. They also last me longer than I expected.

This is our first attempt at counter top composing and smell has not been a problem. We feel that is because of these filters. Working great!

I keep the pail on the counter top and this keeps any decay smells at bay.
