Keep your kitchen clean and odor-free with four-way technology that seals odors in and fruit flies out. The ingenious foot pedal mechanism lets you use two hands to scrape scraps into the bin, and then clamps the biodegradable bag closed between uses. A carbon filter in the lid keeps it odor-free. The handy lift-out tote encloses a full bag for no-spill disposal. No worries about the bag breaking! The 14" L x 10" W x 17" H size fits neatly into most roll-out trash drawers. Great for odor-free diaper disposal or trash, too. Includes 12 plant-based, compostable bags (a three-month supply) and two carbon filters (a one-year supply). Additional bags and filters sold separately.

Great capacity & design, one flaw

Comments about : CompoKeeper:
This is a huge improvement over the smaller containers we've used in the past. The foot pedals, two-tier closure to keep smells in, and lift-out insert to make it easy to carry a full bag to the compost pile are all excellent. I just wish the bags would stay in place a little better.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

So far so good
from Pittsburgh, PA
I've had the compo keeper for a month now & I really like it so far. I use this for kitchen composting and it has eliminated the need for a counter composter and a 5 gallon bucket that the lid freezes on in the winter. I struggle slightly with the bag staying on after repeated use however that could be user error & not product flaw. I will probably review again once the hot summer months kick in, hopefully I'll have the bag issue rectified & will be able to review the smell factor & the ability to keep fruit flies away.
