Grow plants at an easy working height in this unique patio garden; no bending or kneeling to plant, tend and harvest. The compact size is ideal for smaller spaces, and the elevated bed means no weeds and fewer pests, too. The V-shape makes efficient use of space and planting mix — grow deep-rooted plants like tomatoes in the center, shallow-rooted crops like salad greens along the edges. Includes a fitted fabric liner to keep soil contained while letting excess water drain. Plastic feet protect wood from wet surfaces. Quality construction and easy assembly.

Comments about : Compact VegTrug™ Patio Garden, Robin Egg Blue:
I am excited about getting started to growing vegetables and such. I am hoping that being above ground it may deter the squirrels and keep me from straining my back.I don't think the directions are clear enough but it seems sturdy. It is hard to review any other aspect of it as I just got it. Hopefully it lasts more than one season.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Love my VegTrug to Pieces!
By The Crazy Gardening Lady
from Oak Park, IL
I love my VegTrug. I'm growing tomatoes and parsley in it. The plants are bigger and more producing more tomatoes than I ever got in the ground. I waste less water and I don't have to bend over to pick. I planned some in the ground for comparison and the ones in the VegTrug bloomed earlier. The robin's egg blue-green is lovely, too. Great product.

Compact herb garden!
from Cleveland, OH
Love the robin egg blue color, looks beautiful in my garden! Love the height! Easy to tend to herbs while not having to worry about small animals or pets getting into.

I am just getting mine set up and vegetables planted. I like that is is decorative on my patio as well as a source for growing herbs/ vegetables. A concern that I have is how the wood will handle the weather. I researched, talked with local paint experts and still didn't feel confident about what needed to be done to help it last. I decided in the end, to use a rub on water seal just on the outside to help with rain. I was afraid to put it on inside close to food growing. There was really no advice given about this.
Perfect for my deck.

This is great on my deck. I did need help filling it with soil; it holds a lot of soil. It is attractive and useful.

The blue-green is gorgeous; the shape is not at all boxy - perfect for a small courtyard garden. Above ground is great for those with Florida soil and fragile knees!
