Note: Our eagle-eyed Quality Team found surface imperfections in the wood and paint — the birds won’t mind, but we’ve taken 30% off the original price anyway! We recommend applying a coat of polyurethane to protect the finish.
Brightly colored with galvanized metal roofs, these birdhouses have 1-1/4" entrance holes, perfect for nuthatches, titmice, wrens and chickadees. Made from pine with a double-layer protective coating. Metal rings around the entrances deter gnawing predators, and clean out doors on the back make end of season housekeeping easy.

I would buy this product again
from Grants Pass, Or
Used for garden art after putting polished rocks on the sides, front and back. The colors were beautiful but I wished it would have had a purch for the birds to land on. I put a flat polished rock for the purch.

Going to make our bird visitors happy.

Like all the products we've purchased in the past, we are very satisfied.

...but I wonder how long the pop rivets will last before coming loose? They are rather inexpensive but do appear sturdy at first inspection. All metal is a good thing. Only time will tell how long they last. I'll be happy if they last five years before falling apart.
Better than expected!

We held a back yard garden wedding for our eldest daughter and needed a splash of color and whimsy that went with our garden themed yard. These lovely birdhouses were just perfect! They weren't too small or too big, they were SUPER easy to assemble and hang and the bright colors were just right.Absolutely delighted with the value and function of this purchase.

Not for outdoors

These looked so cute in my yard! Until the first rain that is. Then the paint cracked and started to peel up. I returned them and got a refund.

Do not buy these!
from The Woodlands, TX
I was in need of some birdhouses and when I saw these I really liked them and bought them. I hung them up in my yard and let the birds decide if they were going to move in. Not one is being used and I had to throw one in the trash today. The wood sides were peeling off and the roof had popped off! I have only had them up since February of 2014 so they haven't been up long. Do not waste your money until there are improvements made.

These are cute to begin with and the grandkids asked to paint them anyway. we got out a bunch of paint leftovers and also used wood markers from the craft store and they happily embellished. Now two are attached to the tops of garden fencepoles. (the third is in a Jersey City backyard) One of them has tenants - chickadees. I worry that on a sunny day the metal roof must make it pretty hot inside.
These are so cute but ruined in a week!
from Lakewood CO
These birdhouses are adorable. I coveted them in the catalog for years. I got them from my sister for Christmas this past winter...and my dad said, these won't last more than a season - cheap, flimsy boards and just glued together. (Although the tin roof seems nice.) I debated about returning them but just was sure with proper care, they'd last. So I hung them up LAST WEEK. We had some snow and now the paint on all three of them is buckled and peeling. I didn't realize they weren't actually "rated" for outdoor use. Now I have to waste my time taking them back down, calling the company, packing them up and returning them. This is my second product from this company that was cheaply made. I'm very disappointed. Everything is beautiful in the catalog and for these prices, they should be top-notch. I'd say save yourself some time and build your own or buy local birdhouses that you can see and feel!

I have them hanging in a cluster in my dogwood tree. Love watching them "dance" in the wind. The colors are vivid and I certainly have received numerous compliments on them!
