This will stop the deer

By SJ

from Ronan, Montana

Verified Buyer

Comments about : Chicken Wire Cloche:

I got this to stop the deer from destroying a special clump of "deer resistant" snowdrops! It lets in the light and water, I can see and enjoy the blossoms, and the voracious deer can't reach them! Next season, it will protect pansies. It appears to be well made, and should serve its purpose for many years.

An excellent product could be made even better with 4-6 weights on each
to insure the wind doesn't blow the cloches over. gst

The Chicken Wire Cloche is an excellent device to repel animals who like to feed on small plants. I first ordered 3. They worked so well that I ordered another set of 3.

Strawberry protection

By cheddar

from Wheaton IL

Verified Buyer

Comments about : Chicken Wire Cloche:

I have some special strawberries that I haven't been able to try because the squirrels and birds get to them first. I haven't used the cloches yet but they seem like a good solution to protect the plants yet let plenty of light and rain to get in. I also didn't want something that was difficult to harvest yet I plan on using earth staples to secure them.
