In the garden, this chicken wire cloche protects prized seedlings, lettuce plants and ripening strawberries from nibbling wildlife and curious cats. Indoors, place it over an arrangement of houseplants, candles or curios to transform them from ordinary to delightful. May also be used as a trellis for small ivies and other vining houseplants.

To protect my young Echinacea from the rabbits. I am sure to find other uses for this beautiful cloche when the plant is established.
Charming and functional
from Omaha, NE
Plan was to use this in the Spring to protect my young Clematis from the bunnies. I have started using it indoors over a houseplant because of it's charming style.

Christmas cactus in cloche
second set of these for me
from Shpb. Pa
I love the look and functionally of this cloche. This is the second set of these for me. I got the first set as a gift and like them so much decided to buy more. They look great in my garden and protect my newly planted perennials and annuals from from being uprooted before they have there roots anchored in the ground.

Put these out with my easy "Earth Stakes" and rabbits and deer move right on to something else. The bell shape adds character to my yard.
How to keep those pesky rabbits and quail at bay
from Nipomo, CA
When I put in new plants, especially kniphofia or lantana, the wild rabbits and quail eat them to the ground before the roots are established. These wire cloches are perfect for protecting new tender leaves. The plants have time to establish themselves and the leaves have time to weather and become less "tasty."The frames are practically weightless but sturdy enough to withstand wind and rain.

Protecting new shoots
I have bought these more than once!

These cloches are perfect for protecting vulnerable plants.
So charming as a gift that you'll buy one for yourself.
from Bowling Green, KY
Bought this as a gift but the recipient was so pleased that I bought one for myself. She used hers to protect pansy clumps in the garden. I am using mine to cover pots in the garden where I have planted bulbs for spring. The cloches are nice and substantial and will keep the squirrels out until the plants emerge . They look charming eve without plants. Great find.

I'm waiting for Spring before I set these out, but can already say that these are sturdy and well crafted. Every year the deer eat my tulips before they even get a chance to bloom. Can't wait to use them. I bought the large and they will be tall enough for the tulips to fit inside.
