The perfect match for today’s sleek, modern kitchen, this pail is also extremely practical. Stainless steel won’t take on the odors or colors of onions, garlic and other pungent food scraps. It easily rinses clean and is dishwasher-safe, too.

Comments about : Brushed Stainless Steel Compost Pail:
I like the pail, the lid fits well, it looks okay sitting on my counter........ BUT I noticed some rust on the lid today, in the depression around the knob. Granted, I have it sitting next to the sink, so there is moisture nearby. Also, I lift the lid with wet hands quite often, and don't bother to dry it off. It's made for food scraps, though, so it should be expected that it would be exposed to moisture. It should be able to handle it without rusting. A big part of the appeal of stainless steel is that it is not supposed to rust, so it is disappointing to see rust in only a few weeks.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Not what I was hoping for
By Crazy Goat Lady
I bought this stainless steel compost bucket for #1 a lid with no holes to keep out fruit flies but the lid is bent and doesn't fit snuggly. #2 I was hoping for durability but the bottom of the pail showed signs of rusting after the 3rd compost dump. The rust marks are getting larger. I thought stainless steel wasn't supposed to rust!

Practical and not an eye sore

My grandmother has one in her kitchen and then gifted one to my mother. I liked it so much growing up that my kitchen also needed one!

This pail is the perfect compost container for me. I love the material, the size, ease of cleaning and especially the handle for trips down the stairs, across the yard and in the compost!
Best compost pail

This purchase was such a great idea! I can store all my kitchen vegetable and egg shell scraps without smelling them. It holds a good amount and is easy to tote to the garden as well as easy to clean. I'm thinking about giving one as a gift. No need for filters!
A bit small
I think this is a great product. I had one before and when I moved I gave it to my parents so I bought a new one
I am buying this product again.

I bought one of these compost pails about 5 years ago and I love it! Very sturdy, durable and good looking. But somehow the bottom eroded a tiny hole and stinky garbage juice leaked out on the kitchen counter. I'm really not sure how that happened, but I like the pail so much I am buying it again. But this time I'm also buying the compostable compost bags so the pail will last forever.

I thought it would be too big but it is the perfect size for a day's compost additions. Yes, I would buy it again. Easy to use and keep clean.
