Birds needed a jackhammer!

Comments about : Birdseed Cottage:
I purchased this after reading the reviews so I was forwarned. The birds had the most difficult time trying to get seeds so after a while they gave up. Even the squirrels found it difficult. The first time it rained I bought it in the house. Unfortunately, I wasn't home the next time and those stuck on seeds were washed off all over the deck.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

We ordered two as gifts but couldn't part with one of them. The gifted one was really liked. Maybe next year we'll give away two.

It's really cute and would be a fine addition to your bird feeding.
Little birds tried very hard to peck off seeds but were unable to do so.
