Turn your empty soda bottles into a super-easy, inexpensive irrigation system. Our patented AquaCone® watering devices fit 1-liter bottles for light watering or 2-liter bottles to deeply water thirsty plants. AquaCone devices save time over conventional watering, and because they target each plant's root zone, you won't waste water on neighboring weeds. Leaves stay dry, which helps reduce blight and other diseases.

Comments about : Red Aqua Cone®, Set of 6:
I found if I wrap a couple winds of white Teflon tape around the bottle neck threads and then "screw" the cone onto the 2L bottle (dry/empty), I'll have no leaks at the neck and water is retained longer - presumably exiting only at the holes in the soil.

These make watering new plantings a breeze.
By love to plant
from Butler, Md
I punched out the bottom hole, filled up a qt. bottle with water and poked it into the ground next to the plant. It slowly drips the water out right where it needs to be, no wasted water. I have 3 sets of these and I think they are great.
these are super! love them!
l have purchased more every year to expand them to use in my entire garden. they save water and are so efficient. will buy more next year!

I generally prefer self-watering solutions to planting. However, we have an arbor that has planting boxes on either side... except they have slats rather than being solid, so cannot hold dirt. Still we want to grow in them!So we got 2 growing bags per side, and tried that. It was mostly effective, until a few super-hot days dried out the soil and killed the vines. We'd tried these sorts of things before in a conventional tomato planting, and they worked great, so now we got more to keep the vines from drying out... though thus far that's not been a danger this summer!
Not worth getting

I found this product difficult to use and not as effective as clay ones I have used in the past.

These cones are great for getting water directly to plants roots but they do not add additional functionality.

About Me Budget Shopper
This product works well, as advertised. I first saw it mentioned on Appalachia's Homestead. I now have one at each of my tomato, cucumber, pepper, and squash plants, and am pleased at the ease of watering.
not what I was expecting, but will keep them.
