Delightfully fragrant baked apples will become your new favorite dessert with these oven-safe ceramic bowls. So easy to make! Simply core two apples, place in the bowls, add toppings (maple syrup, honey, butter, nuts, spices) and a tablespoon of water, and then bake at 350 degrees F. for 20 to 30 minutes for the perfect dinner finale or snack. The center posts in the baking bowls hold apples upright and ensure even baking.

Great for your sweet tooth!
from Rockford, IL
I love the idea of baking an apple in an apple shaped dish and I love that you can eat the apple out of the same dish. This was a gift for a friend, so I can't speak to how well it worked, but I love the design and idea of it.
Sturdy and spacious

I use cored apples and add cinnamon, butter, and brown sugar, then bake until the apple is soft and the sugar mixture is carmalized.

I made 2 Fuji apples & baked in oven 350 for 45 minutes. Added raisins & brown sugar & inn. & butter & a little water as directed. Delicious. I sprayed the dish with cooking spray first. The easiest dessert to make!

Apple Baker - set of 2
from prescott valley az
best product to bake apples in - contains all the juices.
Practical and Fun
from Chicago suburb
These bakers are appropriately apple shaped, with a central "core" that helps speed baking. However, I had to bake my (large) apples much longer than the recipe stated (almost an hour at 350 degrees for a large apple). But I core the apple, plop it in the baker, add honey or maple syrup, chopped walnuts and raisins, and wait for a delicious dessert to emerge from the oven. Yum!
Bought as a gift- I KEPT THEM
from england, ar
Bought as a gift but...after seeing them I had to keep them. Sorry Mom!! great quality. heavy pottery design. Cooks evenly. Cleans easily (even with burned on sugar.)
Great for Fun Individual Servings
These bakers are appropriately apple shaped and are a fun way to give everybody an individual custom-made baked apple. For the filling, I use honey or maple syrup instead of brown sugar, plus chopped walnuts and raisins and a dab of butter. Yum! However, I have to bake the(large)apples at 350 degrees for almost an hour to get them tender enough. The instructions say 325 degrees to 350 degrees and to start checking at 15 minutes. At that point they are hard as a rock! Well baked, they are delicious.
