The perforated, textured walls of this composter ensure that the materials inside get the airflow they need for efficient composting. You choose the diameter when you set it up; at maximum diameter (approx. 28") it holds up to 11 cu. ft. It's ideal for setting up in multiples to accommodate materials in various stages of decomposition: fresh materials, materials undergoing decomposition and finished compost. Easy to rinse off, roll up and store when not in use. High-density polyethylene walls are extra thick for durability. Secure to the ground with Earth Staples, sold separately.

Comments about : Aerator Composter:
We had 2 in our previous city lot, and rotated between them each year. It really kept our trash down. We put all kitchen and garden and lawn materials in, no stirring and pull it out the following year. Did a good job, left a little on top uncomposted that we just moved to the other composter.Moved to a 25 acre parcel, and bought 3 last year. I put 1 up by itself and combined 2 to make a larger composter. It was a little challenging unwinding and holding the 2 containers open to connect, and a few of the connector plastic "screws broke off when inserting them, but I had enough to hold it together and they both held all winter. When will this be available again?

I Could Have Used These Years Ago!
from West St. Louis County
I love these Aerator Composters. I bought them to store my fall leaves in until I have room in my compost bins, but I have a feeling that they'll do my composting very nicely, as well. I first bought three and within a week or so ordered four more. I've had three compost bins -- all different from each other. And I've never had enough room to compost all that I want to compost. So, these Aerator Composters are really helping me to produce more compost for my gardens. I like that they can easily be taken apart, hosed off, and stored, but I may just keep them going all year long.

About Me Getting Started
Purchased these for my husband, as he was looking for something to replace a mulch/compost hole we started several years ago. These fit the purpose to a tee.

Super Simple Set Up!
from Bloomington, IN
It seemed full with the first batch or grass clippings, but they compressed down in time for the next mowing.
