Like a prized antique market find, this versatile stool goes from breakfast bar to potting shed to the dining table when a last-minute guest arrives. Designed with a nod to traditional industrial drafting stools, it’s solid and sturdy, holding up to 300 pounds. Swivel the seat to adjust the stool’s height from 24" to 32" . The 14" diameter seat is solid waxed mango wood, and the stable, 3-legged base is powder-coated steel with a dark gray anthracite finish.

cool look, but topple easily

Got these early in 2016. Was looking for a rought iron and wood look, to spruce up our updated kitchen and go with our lightning fixtures. First, had to add little pads to all the feet bottoms, so they wouldn't scratch our wood floors. Then, with time, adults and children would flip them when getting off and on. Really should have a 4 th leg to make the bottom heavier. Finally just replace all 6 with a different version, with four legs and better design, because we were really afraid someone was going to get hurt !
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Not as happy as I would like to be....
We bought a set of these to use in our kitchen. The first pair we got were disappointing, as both stools had a dime-sized hole in one of the legs towards the bottom (it looked like someone had done a very bad repair or welding job - one of the legs looked as if it had broken totally off towards the bottom and had been rewelded poorly). After contacting the company, they immediately sent replacements and gave us free shipping on returns as well. We were very pleased with the quality of the customer service. The second set of stools were beautiful. The finish and construction were both what we had expected. We have been using the stools for a little over two months now and I only have two complaints. First, we do have two children in our house, and the stools are a bit tippy since they only have three legs instead of four. They have come crashing down multiple times because someone did not get off of them exactly the right way. I would blame this just on kids being kids, but it has happened 3 or 4 times to adults as well... On the bright side, the stools have not shown any sign of damage, even with all of the falls. My second con is that if the stools are elevated anywhere above the very bottom level, they seat feels a bit wobbly. Yes, there is a screw tightening locking bolt that is supposed to secure the stool seat, but it comes loose as soon as you sit on the seat after tightening it. Overall, we have chosen to keep the stools, even with the problems. We are learning to get off of them gingerly so that they do not topple, and they do look great in our farmhouse kitchen. I just with the design would have been better.

Good quality, worth the price

Metal is heavy duty. Beautiful color and appearance of the wood. They can slide under bar overhang when not in use.

What an unexpected surprise to find these stools in my gardening catalog, I wasn't even looking but they are a perfect fit to my newly remodeled kitchen. They slip under the bar and out of the way. They can be adjusted up and down to fit all my grandchildren and are very sturdy. They were even better than the picture. I couldn't have been more pleased. The stools were so well packaged for shipping that they may have been bombproof.

Stools are awesome

I love that they adjust. My 3 year old granddaughter is short so I crank them up for her. I can also crank them down for really tall friends. I love the style, it fits perfectly with my kitchen decor. Price was very reasonable.

I ordered two stools; one was great, just as I expected. The other was scratched on the top and was wobbly. It seemed like the metal component was too large for the giant screw that is part of the structure of the stool. For the money I did not think it was worth the purchase and since it was a present we found out when the couple was opening the gift. I was very let down with the quality.

I have just remodled my farmhouse kitchen and they look stunning in it. I bought 3 for my island counter and think I need 1 more. The wooden stool matches my hardwood floors and the metal stand matches my woodstove perfectly
