Maximize your harvest of peas, cucumbers, summer squash and melons by growing them up this space-saving trellis. The poly-coated steel poles clip together without tools to create a frame that's approximately 5' high x 5' long. This support gives you 42 square feet of growing space in a 15 square foot footprint. Support the vines by adding your own twine or netting, or use our Biodegradable Netting, sold separately.

Adequate but not great
from St Paul Minnesota
Hopefully will be strong enough to support the squash when they develop. Seems flimsy. There are notches on the frame to attach the recommended netting, but they didn't work too well- not sure if the netting will stay in place once it has to support the weight of the vegtables.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

About Me Master Gardener
I had excellent A-frames 10 years ago and had expected something useful & similar. Here I had difficulty keeping the middle triangle of legs from falling off. Leg ends were deep in soil, but plastic clips to join pieces were inadequate and the whole thing continued to fall down -even before anything was growing on it. When I tried staking the ends with tent pegs and string, the top piece would fall off. The poles are quite thin adding to the flimsiness. Took it down after a week. I have loved growing cucumbers, peas, flowers and small melons in slings on an A-frame in the past. Great picture in your catalog.

The plastic holders broke easily

Using the structure to grow cucumbers. I assembled it by myself!! attaching the netting was a bit difficult and it has pulled away from the poles.

dont buy plastic weak
Should have read other reviews before purchase they were all correct. I thought I hit the jackpot with the price. Poor quality I returned it right away.
from Benton, LA
the A-frames are not very sturdy and the netting comes on a roll and is very difficult to stretch and secure over the A-frame poles. As the cucumbers are growing over the netting the netting is not strong enough to hold them up and the netting is stretching allowing the cucumbers to drop near/on the ground.
