Love it! very sturdy
from Finger Lakes NY
This is great. Have a small garden so I start my lettuce, etc then move to garden & start more. The trellis allows you to grow climbing plants. Holds water while not having plants sit in water reducing need to water.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great product, looks great, easy setup
from Washington, DC
I purchased this three tiered self watering planter three years ago and loved it. It held up really well, and I was able to grow a garden in it, as well as plant flowers. I only had to purchase a new one because as I was packing it to move, I placed it on the sidewalk for one second to speak to a neighbor and someone took off with it. I purchased a new one with the trellis this time around. I still love it.

Expensive, but works
from Denver, Colorado
I bought this to use in an area of a Denver backyard that didn't have access to the sprinkler system. It is beautiful in bronze. It holds a sufficient amount of water to keep plants watered for a few days - 3-4 days - in an arid climate. I would recommend getting the planters set up in the frame, then put in the potting soil and plants, rather than trying to put the soil/plants in before you put the planters in the frame. Once they are full, they are very heavy and difficult to maneuver into the frame. I broke off a section of one of the planters trying to put it in the frame. The gauges don't really read correctly, not at all reliable, but it really doesn't matter as all you need to do is feel the soil to see if they need to be refilled or not.

Great product, slight quality issue
from Rancho Santa Margarita, CA
This is my second container garden with trellis. We liked the first so well, we bought a second to grow more fruits and vegetables. The product is easy to assemble, looks good, and based on my first purchase, seems very durable. However, the second garden with trellis arrived with rust already present at the sodered joints and on the screws themselves. I would have sent the item back to be replaced but my son was way too excited to plant the "vertical farm" and the item comes in 3 very large boxes. There was no way I was going to try to repkg the pieces and return it, even with the return labels. Just too cumbersome and time consuming (plus I would have had a very upset child!)I was surprised to have a quality issue from Gardeners. Since the item will be outside, I just accepted it anyway. Hope it doesn't rust out quickly and I'm not sorry.
