This simple, easy-to-use Light Stand provides bright, full-spectrum light to help seedlings get off to a great start. It's also handy for growing herbs and houseplants. It includes a compact yet sturdy base plus a 18" full-spectrum light. It also includes a Nano Reflector that redirects light downwards, increasing the light available to plants by up to 50%, without increasing energy consumption. O-rings let you easily adjust the height of the light from 1" to 16".

Great for starting plants indoors, as well as providing extra light during the winter. Reflector shield can be turned so it can be placed next to taller plants.

Would lost without the grow light - it with the seedling mat results in more successful plant for the garden.

I have limited space for growing so I liked the size advertised. However I like to have a back up bulb and cannot find an 18" T5 bulb in my community or on line yet. I tried the manufacturer to no avail. I will keep trying or possibly replace the length of ballast and bulb.

I am a beginner gardener and wanted to try starting plants by seed. I bought this grow light and am extremely disappointed. It is made of cheap plastic and is hard to adjust to different heights. Whenever I try to adjust the light, it falls out of the socket (and has broken more than a few seedlings). I have since bought two grow lights from a different company, which are larger, easier to setup, easier to adjust light height, and cheaper. I recommend looking elsewhere for a starter grow light.
