We like using my grandfather's old pruning shears, but they have gotten dull. Using the 4-in-1 sharpening tool, we now have an extremely usable antique pruners.

I was hoping for a tool I could sharpen pruning shears but the gadget doesn't fit unless you open the shears.

I use this sharpener for my gardening tools. It's good in a pinch, but if you are serious, get a moderately priced bench grinder with a stone on one side and a steel brush on the other side and you are set for years.

Had to take by pruning shears and rose clippers apart in order to sharpen blade. However, it did sharpen pretty well, but this is very time consuming. Too much money for a pretty cheaply made sharpener.

Athough we love this sharpener for kitchen use, it is awkward and time consuming to use on larger garden shears and lopers
