Using this in a shower. Works well and looks good. Only issue is that since it has 4 legs and shower floors slope, it tends to wobble - 3 legs wouldn't wobble but it would not be as sturdy as this piece. If they made the front center leg with an adjustable piece on the bottom that would take care of the issue. Am planning on going out and purchasing a small rubber 'button' to go under that leg to stabilize it. Otherwise it is great!

Bought this gorgeous piece a year and a half ago for a walk-in shower, but as other reviewers have noted, a slighly sloped floor makes this bench unstable. Finish has held up, but a few pieces on the bench have slipped, so it is clearly not well reinforced. Unfortunately, the design in the bench seat goes from wide to narrow openings (like a piece of pie). Woe unto those who slide around when shaving legs or scrubbing feet! The bench grabs and pinches whatever parts are sitting on it (you get the idea), which is painful. Now this expensive bench is decorating my garden where it can be enjoyed WITH PANTS ON!

I bought this bench for the shower. I shopped several retailers and chose this one because of the design, the price, and the great reviews. I was not disappointed. I have treated it with teak oil and it is beautiful. The only thing I would suggest is that leveling feet be added. My shower slopes and this makes the bench a bit wobbly. I will be adding the leveling feet myself. I'm certain I will have this bench for a lifetime. Thank you.
