These are advertised as being liners for pots. When received, the package doesn't mention that, but says they are to top a pot - i.e. put on top of the dirt and make it look like grass. They might fit the bird nest planters sold by Gardener's well, but if you need to cut them to fit another planter, it is extremely messy and not as easy as it would seem. They also smell of chemicals. I am using them and have not had an issue with the plants affected by chemicals. They do seem to drain well.

Perfect for the Bird Nest planter! Looks terrific in the planter and keeps the soil moist. In the past, would have filled my planter with Spanish Moss, but this saved me alot of tedious and messy work. Just simply cut to fit and placed in the bottom of the planter--ready for soil and plants in no time.

This moss looks great in planters and drains water well. I used these along with the hydro mats in a planter and it provides a nice look while allowing the plants to keep moisture in so you don't have to water as often. Easy to cut and fit different sizes of planters.

I need something to help hold the soil and moisture into the small bird's nest planter I was filling with flower this spring (planter also acquired from Gardner's Supply.) These SuperMoss liners fit the planter well and, in combination with the Hydromats, has done a great job at keeping the plants well watered even in their shallow planter.
