This stainless crock replaced a different version (crockery) whose handle broke off much too soon. That was disappointing - hopefully this one will be more durable.

Prefer this model to the ceramic one that I had for ~10yrs. It is lighter in weight and should not break/crack/chip. Jury is still out to see if it lasts as long.

This compost pail is and does everything claimed. I love it. It is kind of expensive but I don't expect to ever need to replace it.

This is great compost bin. Sturdy and easy to clean. The stainless steel really helps keep the odor to a minimum because it doesn't absorb it like our old plastic bin did. I love the handle - it's very sturdy.

Sending this one back. I couldn't get the filter compartment to open up. It could just be the one I received but the design leads me to believe the filter will just be hard to replace in this style composter.

This is great - you can leave items on the count for a week and never smell them. I have been using this for about 3 months - I'm very happy with the purchase and and buying it for someone as a gift.
