Here's a smart alternative to bark mulch, made from 100% recycled tires. A landscape backing holds the shredded rubber in place, while it also suppresses weed growth. Each 22" by 72" section is easy to install, and the 2" lip of fabric down one side ensures continuous coverage over wider areas. We recommend anchoring the mulch with our Earth Staples, sold separately. Choice of Walnut or Redwood.

Comments about Recycled Rubber Walkway:
I used 3 of these last year to create a path through my wildflower garden. It keeps weeds and seedlings out and looks good but it is expensive for the quality (several bags of mulch would be less expensive.) I do love the idea BUT please couln't you get it made with more durability? It is so lightly attached to the backing that I caused it to separate just installing the first one. I AM buying a replacement this year and hope you will take action on my comment. IF it were more durable I have several other places on my property that I would use this product.

Comments about Recycled Rubber Walkway:
This is my first time using the rubber walkway.
I wanted it for the flexibility of moving it
around to various areas. It looks great. I have
used the rubber edging in other areas of my yard
and am very satisfied. If this works as well, I
will buy more.

Comments about Recycled Rubber Walkway:
We are blessed with large earthworms, but cursed with armadillos (that can hear an earthworm 10 inches under the ground). We apparently have very loud earthworms and our yard is full of holes the perfect size to catch your toe in & trip. We surrounded our raised beds with the rubber walkways & discovered the armadillos did not like them & did not disturb the beds or the tasty earthworms in the beds. Yea!! This year we put black garden sheeting under the new rubber mats hoping they will hold up better as we did get a couple of holes last year. Will continue to order more rubber walkways as we add more raised beds. We also think they make the garden area look neat & tidy.

Comments about Recycled Rubber Walkway:
I used several of these along the curb in front of my house where the bark just kept blowing away or getting washed into the gutter. They look nice and blend in well with the bark on the rest of the area between the street and the sidewalk. Easy to walk on for people getting in or out of cars on the street. My first set has lasted over a year with no sign of wear. The mats are heavy and stay put with standard landscaping staples.

Wanted this for paths between raised beds, to block weeds. Worked great for one season, but then weeds broke thru and rendered it useless.

I put 2 of these side by side through a perennial border between the lawn and the small door that goes under my house. I'm lucky that the door is high enough for me to push my bicycle-wheeled garden wheelbarrow right under the house for storage. These mats made the perfect driveway through the flower bed for my cart to easily roll right under the house!

Used it to line path around raised bed and to keep Russian Sage from filling in the area. Easily cuts to fit space.
