The hardest part of building raised beds is constructing corners that are square, strong and trim. Our ingenious new Pivoting Connectors make it easy to create raised beds that will follow every twist and turn between 90 and 180 degrees. Designed and manufactured by us, here in Vermont, they're made of durable aluminum stock with an attractive powder-coated finish. Just slide your lumber into place and secure it on the inside with the screws provided.

Comments about Pivoting Raised Bed Connectors:
Visitors always mention how tidy and attractive the bed is with these connectors. I have very little sun in the yard so the raised bed helps me use most of it. The connectors also allow for slight errors in cutting the wood; the screws still hold and the boards are square.

Comments about Pivoting Raised Bed Connectors:
I would buy it again but order the timber from Gardener's Supply. I am just very fortunate to have wonderful, woodworking neighbors. I was really blind-sided by the difference in thickness between cedar and pine.

Comments about Pivoting Raised Bed Connectors:
These pivoting raised bed connectors can be stacked as high as you want. Simply slide a one inch pipe through the hinges and stack them as high as the sky. (Make sure your pipe is driven deep into the ground if you go very high.) I'm currently building a seven foot wide octogon flower fountain where each smaller inner octogon is taller. I'm going up three tiers. Yes, that's a lot of connectors, but I'll plant something different at each level.
Comments about Pivoting Raised Bed Connectors:
I had to take the product to a machine shop and make changes to get below 90 degrees. Catalogue description says unit can achieve any angle. That is not correct. This was not a gift and you are REQUIRED to be truthful in your product descriptions. I will definately blog about your inaccuracy.

Comments about Pivoting Raised Bed Connectors:
Neat for making raised beds where corners may not be 90 degrees.
Only one problem: Cedar boards are recommended for rot resistance. The only cedar boards available in my area are "rough sawn", thicker than usual boards of 2" nominal thickness, so board ends had to be milled to fit in the connector slots.

I would not buy this again - it's not worth the money. Cost nothing to make, but is so expensive.

Comments about Pivoting Raised Bed Connectors:
I'm installing raised borders in my vegetable garden this year and I looked around for a quality product before buying these. I did not find any other company with adjustable connectors like these and I'm very happy with my purchase. My garden is circular in shape with beds along the outside and inside, and these pivoting connectors worked perfectly. They are very sturdy and were easy to assemble. They adjust to fit any angle and come with all the hardware. I just needed a drill for pilot holes and a screw gun. My garden looks awesome, and the soil, compost and mulch I will add later will stay in the beds and off the paths.

Comments about Pivoting Raised Bed Connectors:
I needed something to replace some plastic edging that I had. It needed to be something that I could curve and shape. This did just the trick. I am very pleased with the results that I got. Great purchase.
