Comments about Essex Plant Supports:
I purchased the small size that folds down for storage. The pieces do not stay together. If you bump into this AT ALL it will fall apart. You are better off purchasing something that is welded into one piece for stability.

Comments about Essex Plant Supports:
While I like the style and sturdiness of the materials , it is difficult to assemble and place. If the legs were attached through an open ring instead of the straight hook, it would be so much easier to use

Just what we needed to support some too-tall plants that don't want to stand up on their own! I would definitely recommend these.

Comments about Essex Plant Supports:
I love the way these look in my garden. The metal itself is sturdy and long lasting. The assembly mechanism is very flawed, however. Both circle tops have three small hooks that fit into small tubes on the legs. They do not fit tightly and it is nearly impossible to maintain the assembly when placing in the garden. I finally tried wiring it together with fine gauge wire. An imperfect, but workable solution. These need to be re-engineered and then they would be perfect.

Comments about Essex Plant Supports:
This superior plant support graced my favorite peony until the day a grey pine tree dropped a two foot diameter limb directly on it. Nothing could have withstood that kind of impact and the plant support is now a twisted example of abstract art. I immediately ordered a new one to replace it, as I've never found any better product.

Comments about Essex Plant Supports:
I purchased 1 to use on some peonies I have on the side of my yard. I was tired of having the flowers hang down on the ground and get run over by the mower and generally looking messy. Since they are rather expensive, I wanted to be sure I liked it before buying more. After using my first one, I was so pleased that I purchased 5 more to support the whole row of peonies. My row of peony bushes and supports became the "talk of the town". Many people wanted to know where I had gotten them. I have now made my third purchase to use on a second row of peonies. These are awesome!

Comments about Essex Plant Supports:
These plant supports are attractive enough to leave up year-round. My only complaint is that it was a bit difficult to put together and keep it together until I got it in the ground. The stakes kept popping out of the holes.
