  • Grow plants at an easy working height
  • Narrow profile fits anywhere
  • Solid wood with a food-safe finish
  • 72" L x 18" W x 29-1/2" H

Place the Wallhugger VegTrug™ along a fence or wall to create a tidy and convenient vegetable growing area in a very small space. It's deeper at the back for large plants like tomatoes, and shallower in front for greens, herbs and other small plants. Grow plants at an easy, ergonomic height; no bending or kneeling to plant, tend and harvest. Wheelchair accessible. The elevated bed means no weeds and fewer pests, too. Great for apartment or condo dwellers with limited space — and you can take it with you if you move! Includes a fitted fabric liner to keep soil contained while letting excess water drain. Plastic feet protect wood from wet surfaces. Quality construction and easy assembly.

My wife asked for this item as a Christmas Present from me and thanks to you, it came on time. We placed it in it's box in the garage until March, when I will put it together for her (also part of the Christmas Present). It will be placed on the patio next to the garage; where she will have many happy hours gardening without bending over.

We use the VegTrug wall hugger on our deck and love it. Fairly easy to assemble but beware not all holes line up so a drill is helpful. Before assemble I varnished every part to prolong the life of the product and then added wheels ~ see picture. Simple wheels came from our local hardware store. Keep in mind, this baby is heavy once full of soil so wheels are recommended if you ever want to move it. Found not all parts lined up exactly so best not to tighten any screws until unit is assembled. Husband now wants another one as he is loving how easy it is to garden.

                    • Difficult to assemble

                    Best Uses

This wall hugger was much more difficult to assemble than the regular vegtrugs. The second to last step of holding up the top box while simultaneously screwing it together will require at least three people and is not aided by the end pieces being about a half inch too short on both that I ordered. I don't completely understand why they didn't make the end wedges and ends pieces the same as the regular vegtrugs (where it's all one piece). I think it will be a good product once in use this spring but be ready for some frustrated assembly.
