It's a pretty product but the birds aren't impress. They don't even nibble at it. Will put it out this spring and see if they like the 'pears' any better.

Hi, We put it (bird seed pear) hanging from the roof overhang just outside a large window so that we can watch the birds eat it. So far (about two weeks) the birds have not found it yet.

When I received these I loved how they were packaged. I let my children open them like a gift and decide where to hang them in the yard. The only problem is that the birds don't seem to be too interested in them. I'm not sure why that is. I've had them in the yard for two weeks now and they are untouched. I've tried placing them in other places nearer larder trees etc with no luck.

I bought these to decorate a pine tree in my front yard to attract more birds. They are very cute, well made and packaged nicely for shipping.

I bought three cases of these for Christmas gifts. I inquired to each person how they like the pear ornaments. Each person is an avid bird feeder. Each said that the birds don't touch these and show no interest. Actually one gal said she saw a bird peck a seed but went back to another feeder. These three people live in three different areas. I am disappointed that the gifts I bought are duds.

These pear shaped seed ornaments have lasted longer than others we have tried. They look real on an outdoor tree, the color lasts thru snow storms, and they are a bit heaver than a squirrel wants to carry away. The strings are a bit too easy to chew thru, so wiring them to the tree helps keep them there. We bought them on sale after Christmas and they have been well worth it.

I like to feed the birds and this was a different attraction for them. The seeded pears are well made and hold up well in adverse weather conditions. I bought them on sale , but I don't think I would have bought them at full price.

These are sturdy and made of solid seeds. Yellow dyed seeds can stain anything they touch and the substrate swells in moist/wet conditions. Dry climates, or indoor use would be best. The wild birds did like them, but the ornaments made a mess falling off branches that were not as sturdy.
